Hi, I’m Katie, and I believe therapy is a space to get curious, feel safe, and begin to reflect, repair, and grow. I work with children, young adults, and families from birth and on, supporting them through the messy, meaningful work of growing up. My approach is trauma-informed and rooted in the belief that healing honors both challenge and strength, pain and hope – the power of and.
In our work, I support individuals and families in understanding feelings, making space for emotional expression, and rebuilding connection. I integrate play, art, music, movement, alongside evidence-based practices like CBT, EFT, and narrative therapy to support meaningful change.
Things you should know about working with me:
- Therapy doesn’t have to be boring—we can be silly, creative, and authentically ourselves
- Sometimes I’m joined by my therapy dog Dolly, my doodle and co-regulator-in-training
- I believe you are the expert of you, and your child
Outside the therapy room:
You’ll find me wandering near the ocean, practicing new tricks with Dolly, or exploring new restaurants with loved ones.
Let’s connect. Together, we can create a safe space for you and your family.
