Play Therapy

Because little kids have big feelings, too.

Play is a child’s language, and in therapy, it becomes their way of processing emotions, relationships, and challenges. Our trained therapists create safe, imaginative spaces for your child to explore and heal—at their own pace.

Play therapy is a developmentally appropriate, evidence-informed modality for children who may not yet have the language to fully articulate their experiences. Rooted in the work of Virginia Axline and supported by decades of clinical research, play therapy allows children to express emotions, resolve trauma, and build coping strategies through symbolic play and therapist-guided interaction. Our trained clinicians use child-centered and directive techniques, tailored to meet the unique needs of children ages 3 and up. Play therapy is particularly effective for addressing trauma, attachment disruption, ADHD, anxiety, and mood dysregulation.
